BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Bakersfield Stevie Wonder impersonator Tino Ibach has entered a plea to sex charges.
The 55-year-old pleaded no contest Tuesday to contacting a minor with the intent to commit a sex act and annoying or molesting a child.
Ibach was arrested in June 2025 after grabbing a young girl’s hands and holding her for more than two minutes at Snappy’s gas station in the 3600 block of Stockdale Highway.
In a jailhouse interview with KGET-TV following his arrest, Ibach blamed his problems on his addiction to artificial intelligence-based Chat GPT.
In October 2025, Ibach was found incompetent to stand trial and was sent to a mental health hospital for treatment.
