BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Three Bakersfield juveniles have been arrested following a brazen robbery at Valley Plaza Mall.
Police say on Wednesday undercover detectives with the organized retail theft unit were conducting surveillance at the mall in the 3000 block of Ming Avenue when they noticed the juveniles grab a necklace from a woman’s neck.
The victim was shopping with her child.
The suspects were apprehended after running away when detectives stepped in to stop them.
The trio face charges including robbery, resisting arrest, and participation in a criminal street gang.
