Ness

Ness has been part of the KUZZ family since 2021, working her way from part-time roles to hosting Nights with Ness, and now waking Bakersfield up each morning on The Brent & Ness Show. Her path to radio wasn’t traditional, but it was always intentional—KUZZ was the dream, and she chased it. As Cody Johnson says in “Till You Can’t,” “If you got a dream, chase it,” and Ness is living proof of that every morning on the air.

Born and raised in Taft, California, Ness is a proud Taft High alum (where she earned the Senior Superlative Most Dramatic—shockingly accurate) and Taft College graduate, later finishing her degree at CSUB. She lives in Taft with her husband Pablo and their son, Alexander Paul, who keeps her on her toes and fuels many of her on-air stories.

Outgoing, adventurous, and determined, Ness brings humor, honesty, and just the right amount of chaos to the show. She’s a self-proclaimed fan girl, Diet Coke enthusiast, deal hunter, and food lover who isn’t afraid to laugh at herself or share real life with listeners. Ness is incredibly grateful to be part of the KUZZ family and loves starting each morning helping Bakersfield laugh, connect, and feel a little less alone.
