An inmate at North Kern State Prison who was convicted of beating his 64-year-old cellmate to death has been sentenced to 16-years-to-life in prison. Randy Moser was serving time for felony hit and run when he murdered Vietnam veteran Donald Cook in 2014. Cook’s request to change cells was denied.
