The Downtown Business Association says the Bakersfield Christmas Parade tonight will take place even if it’s still raining. Parade Coordinator Mira Patel says everyone’s been working hard all year to put on the event that travels down 21st Street starting at L Street, then turns at G Street and heads back up 20th Street, and people can go to the link at bcparade.com to scout a location and look for the Christmas Market Vendors. The DBA is concerned, though, for the well being of people working on their floats in the rain. The two-hour parade starts at 6:00.
