GIRLS SCOUTS GROW WITH THE TIMES

Kern County Girl Scouts are thriving as the parent organization marks its 107th birthday. At the Bakersfield headquarters on Brundage Lane and H Street, Regional Membership Manager Shannon Pamiza said they offer both traditional scouting options for young women, and well as the trending topics of today. “We have robotics, engineering, we have sports, outdoor skills, pretty much anything you can think of, Girl Scouts are doing it.” Girl Scout programs are available for girls from kindergarten through high school, and as adults.
