A brush fire burned roughly 30 acres Monday in Hart ParkKern County Fire says crews ordered voluntary evacuations for nearby homes, as the fire grew. About 5 firetrucks and two helicopters battled the blaze, which began before 11:00am. Fire crews were able to replace the evacuation order with a shelter-in-place request. This was lifted Monday afternoon.
