DMV: 11,000 Licenses Issued Under AB 60

Over 11,000 California driver’s licenses have been issued under a new law that allows migrants in the country illegally to apply for them.

The Department of Motor Vehicles says over 96,000 people applied for a license under AB 60 last week.

Over 110,000 have applied since the start of the new year. DMV workers began accepting applications on Jan. 2.
