The city of Tehachapi says it’s going to move forward with the rehabilitation of an old well.

The Tehachapi News and Guide reports about $660,000 has been set aside for the joint Snyder Well project this year, saying the city is aiming to use the well again for farming.

It had been shut down for years because of high nitrate levels.
