A Washington man has been given a four-year federal prison sentence for stealing $850,000 from Californians through a sweepstakes scam.

The Central Valley Business Times reports 31-year-old Joseph Nkunzi targeted elderly valley residents, including residents from Bakersfield, from 2011 to 2013.
