Cal-State Bakersfield has been given $20,000 to help fund the education of students that are the first in their families to attend college.

The grant from Wells Fargo will go toward five $4,000 scholarships.

According to a press release from the school, 75 percent of undergraduate students at CSU-B are first-generation college students
