Clinica Sierra Vista has opened a new, 14,000 sq. ft. clinic east of Niles Street and Fairfax Road on Bakersfield’s east side.

Pritika Ram is with the agency and says the new facility will take some strain off of the clinic’s other east-side location on Martin Luther King Boulevard, which is at capacity.

“We find that the need never stops, so we’re are just simply expanding our footprint and providing points of access to healthcare in areas that are lacking.

Ram says the $5.2 million clinic will also be used to train new southern and central valley doctors.
