Police have released surveillance images of the gun-wielding man who jumped the counter and robbed the Safe 1 Credit Union on Oak and Palm streets in Bakersfield.

It happened just after 1 p.m. on Friday. Police describe him as a black man who was wearing all black clothing, black gloves and a black ski mask.

According to a news release, he was armed with a long-barreled revolver.
