Arson investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire at a vacant fourplex near Highway 178 in east Bakersfield.

Firefighters were called to Inyo and Monterey streets just after 9 p.m. on Monday.

No injuries were reported. It caused around $5,000 damage, according to a press release.
