A 25-year-old man has denied claims that he struck and and killed another man with his car on Buena Vista Drive in southeast Bakersfield.

Joselito Meza pleaded not guilty to felony hit-and-run, DUI causing death, and vehicular manslaughter charges in a Kern County courtroom on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say he killed 22-year-old Miguel Aldaco on Sunday.
