The bicyclist that was killed in a hit-and-run near South Union Avenue and Panama Lane has been identified as 43-year-old Saul Cheves Selaya Ayala of Bakersfield.

He was struck near Radicchio Avenue just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police still don’t have a description of the vehicle that hit him.
