A 42-year-old Bakersfield man faces up to 20 years in prison after admitting that he attempted to sell five pounds of methamphetamine to an informant.

Court documents say Edwin Mayorga-Fajardo tossed bags of the drug from his car during a high-speed chase last April after getting busted. He’ll be sentenced in May.
