Kern County staffers have donated over 18,000 pounds of food to a local food pantry.

Over $20,000 was also accumulated during last year’s Kern County Cares food drive to help the Golden Empire Gleaners purchase fresh produce. The announcement was made during Tuesday’s Kern County Supervisors meeting.
