A man from Shafter has admitted to trying to sell four pounds of methamphetamine.

41-year-old Santos Gutierrez pleaded guilty Tuesday in a federal courtroom and now faces up to life in prison when he’s sentenced in May. Sheriff’s deputies found the drugs and $10,000 cash in his home last April.
