The Kern County Coroner’s Office says the 32-year-old man whose body was found in an orange grove near Lamont died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Jaime Puente was found by farm workers near Muller and South Vineland roads on February 20th. Sheriff’s detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
