Wings of Rescue says it will be flying just over 110 pets from Meadows Field to shelters in the Pacific Northwest on Friday morning.

79 dogs and eight cats will be making the trip from shelters in Bakersfield to agencies in Washington and Idaho. Planes should arrive at the airport at around 10 a.m.
