A Bakersfield felon has been given a nearly six-year prison sentence for being in possession of a gun.

32-year-old Vincent Deleon was jailed after attempting to out-run FBI agents while exiting a Monterey Street apartment in 2013. Prosecutors say he tossed a pistol over a fence during the chase.
