Psyllid Quarantine Expanded in Fresno County

Fresno County has expanded its Asian Citrus Psyllid quarantine after the insect was found near Orange Cove.

The California Department of Food and Agriculture says that county’s quarantine is now at 134 square miles.

Kern County’s 113-mile quarantine remains in effect after the pest, which can cause a citrus greening disease, was found near Bakersfield last year.
