Coroner: Prisoner Died from Meth Intoxication

The Kern County Coroner’s Office says a 49-year-old man who was pronounced dead at Delano Regional Medical Center after collapsing in his cell at the Kern Valley State Prison died from methamphetamine intoxication.

Lorenzo Napoleon died at the hospital on Feb. 13. The prison is investigating the death.
