Man Wanted For Burglary, Pulling Knife at Store

Police say they’re looking for a man who threatened a worker at a Rite Aid in downtown Bakersfield with a knife.

It happened just before 4:20 p.m. on March 9 as the man fled from the store on 23rd Street with $500 in stolen goods.

He’s described as a 25-year-old man with short hair and a mustache. He was wearing a blue and white plaid button-up shirt, a dark-colored undershirt and tan pants at the time of the incident.

Police also say he left the scene on a turquoise mountain bike.
