Stocks surged Wednesday after the Federal Reserve released a statement saying that an interest rate hike wasn’t likely during its next meeting in April.

The Dow was up 227 points, the Nasdaq gained 49 and the S&P 500 added 25.

Oil was up nearly three percent to $44.66.
