The Kern County Coroner’s Office says further studies are needed to determine what killed a 4-month-old found not breathing at a motel.

Zayed Farah was rushed to a hospital from the Country Inn on South Union Avenue on Monday.

Sheriff’s investigators are calling the death suspicious, but are investigating the death as a matter of routine.
