A 36-year-old Ford City man is jailed after sheriff’s deputies say he choked a woman and dragged her 20 feet across a yard at a home near Harrison and Elm streets.

Glenn Reid was jailed Tuesday night after a standoff. He’s also accused of tossing the victim inside the residence in front of her child.
