A hearing scheduled for today over whether a Walmart can be built in Tehachapi has been delayed indefinitely.

The city says the judge overseeing the case is sick. The hearing was triggered after opponents of the plan claimed the retail giant’s environmental report under-emphasized noise and traffic estimates linked to the proposed store.
