Work to improve PG&E’s electrical grid will force some lane closures on Panama Lane from Gosford Road to Highway 99 in Bakersfield.

The work on the overhead power lines and poles will begin Tuesday. Crews will be done with the work by April 17, but the lanes should be reopened by Wednesday.
