A hearing over plans to build a Walmart in Tehachapi has been rescheduled for April 24.

It was set to take place last week, but was called off because the judge overseeing the case had fallen ill.

Opponents of the plan urged the meeting, saying the retailer’s environmental report under-emphasized the proposed store’s noise and traffic impacts.
