A grocer out of Washington has opened two of its new Bakersfield supermarkets.

Two former Albertson’s on White and Panama lanes have been converted to Haggens, and a third Albertson’s on East Stockdale Highway will open with the new branding Thursday.

The chain is trying to expand from 18 stores to 160 stores.
