USDA Sets Money Aside For Citrus Greening Research

The USDA has set aside $23 million to research how to combat a greening disease that could ruin California’s citrus industry.

Researchers are looking for a way to battle against Huanglongbing and its carrier, the Asian Citrus Psyllid. 113 miles of Kern County is quarantined in an effort to control the growth of the pest.
