The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man in a wheelchair who died after being struck by a pickup in Oildale as 74-year-old Danny Huddleston of Bakersfield.

He was hit just before 6:20 p.m. Tuesday near North Chester and McCord avenues. He was pronounced dead later that night at a hospital.
