The Kern County Cancer Fund is aiming to raise over $400,000 during this year’s Campout Against Cancer.

The event at the State Farm Sports Village at Ashe Road and Taft Highway in Bakersfield started Friday and will wrap up Saturday. Over 400 campers are expected.

The event raised $325,000 last year.
