Couple Killed in Bizarre I-5 Wreck ID’d

The two people that were crushed by an SUV that fell onto their vehicle from a car-hauler on Interstate 5 near Bear Mountain Boulevard have been identified by the coroner’s office as 68-year-old George Perry Jr. and 69-year-old Bette McDonald-Perry of Roseville.

Both died after being airlifted to Kern Medical Center on Wednesday. The crash forced a temporary closure of the freeway.
