Honor Flight Kern County wants people to pack the terminal at Meadows Field and applaud veterans leaving on Friday for Washington, D.C.

Departures are scheduled for 6:10 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. The veterans, during an all-expense-paid trip, will tour war memorials while they’re in the nation’s capital.
