Cal State-Bakersfield softball player Kelsie Monroe has been named the the Western Athletic Conference’s pitcher of the week.

The senior from Los Banos went 1-1, striking out 11 in 14 innings last week against New Mexico State. She did not surrender an earned run in either of those two appearances.
