Supervisors have opted to further examine plans to privatize the management of Kern County’s 25 libraries, and will turn to the public for guidance.

A schedule for a series of meetings and a rough draft of a survey was presented Tuesday. The first meeting is scheduled to take place at the Beale Memorial Library in downtown Bakersfield on April 27.
