Three men are denying that they took part in a shootout near Quailwood Elementary School in southwest Bakersfield.

Bryson Blair, Herman Deans and Dominique Deans pleaded not guilty to gun and gang-related charges on Thursday. They were arrested after police say they opened fire on another vehicle from a rental car on Tuesday.
