The woman arrested for a house fire that critically hurt a Fresno firefighter lit herself on fire during a 2009 fight with her boyfriend in Oildale.

52-year-old Julia Harper admitted Wednesday to setting the fire that gave Pete Dern second and third-degree burns over most of his body after he fell through the roof of the home last month.

Harper and the same boyfriend were living at that house in Fresno.
