The state has approved the transfer of 335,000 acre-feet of water stored south of the delta to agencies with supply needs.

The State Water Project and federal Central Valley Project transfers will benefit several groups, including the Kern County Water Agency, the Arvin-Edison Water Storage District and the Kern-Tulare Water Agency.
