The coroner’s office says the man who was killed in an eastside wreck with a school bus is 23-year-old Leonardo Diarte of Bakersfield.

He died at East Truxtun Avenue and Gage Street before 3 p.m. on May 1. Diarte had been arrested previously for two hit-and-runs, a DUI and driving without a license.
