Bill Making Central Valley Hwy. Eligable For Funding Passes Assembly Floor

A bill that would make Highway 43 eligible for project money through Caltrans has passed the Assembly floor.

The bill by Bakersfield assemblyman Rudy Salas was approved with bipartisan support last week. The 97-mile stretch, which is called the “Central Valley Highway,” serves as an agricultural corridor between Kern, Tulare, Kings and Fresno counties.
