One of the men accused of shooting a man, his wife and their unborn baby in front of their Monterey Street home in east Bakersfield has been arrested north of the Mexico border.

Sheriff’s spokesman Ray Pruitt says Anthony Sanchez was jailed in Brawley on Friday, and also says Anthony and James Rios remain at large.

“They are two individuals that we want to take into custody as soon as possible,” he said. “Any person who would shoot a woman who is eight-and-a-half months pregnant is a person we would consider very dangerous.”

Adrianna Bravo gave birth last Tuesday after bullet shrapnel grazed the fetus. The newborn, Adriana and father Mario are all said to be recovering.
