A man has been arrested for domestic battery and resisting arrest after running through freeway traffic on Highway 178 in east Bakersfield.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Marcelo Carbajal dropped a knife and bolted near Gage and Lincoln streets before 3 p.m. Thursday.\

He was found at Quincy Street and Beale Avenue.
