A Fresno man has denied claims that he tried to traffic a 15-year-old girl in Bakersfield.

36-year-old Kitteran Patton was in court Friday and is jailed on $250,000 bond.

He was arrested Wednesday at the Motel 6 on Easton Drive after the runaway texted a relative who had reported her missing.
