Kern County Sheriff’s detectives have eliminated one man as a person of interest in an east Bakersfield homicide case.

Michael Gutierrez has been interviewed and released, but they are still looking for Martha Noriega. She may be connected to the killing of Nicolas Gomez at Quincy and Robinson streets on March 29th. Noriega, 23, is described as a 5-foot-2, 130-pound woman with brown and red hair and brown eyes.Those with more information are being urged to call the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at (661) 861-3110 or the secret witness line at (666) 322-4040.
