The Kern Regional Center has a new interim director.

Robert Riddick from the Central Valley Regional Center has been appointed to the position after Duane Law was fired by the non-profit’s board on Friday.

Law had come under fire after employees told the Department of Developmental Services that funds at the facility were being misappropriated. Several were also unhappy over a pay raise that Law had received.
