Bail is set at nearly $1.6 million for a man accused of shooting a pregnant woman and her husband outside of their east Bakersfield home.

Anthony Rios denied attempted murder charges Wednesday. Rios, his brother James and Anthony Sanchez are accused of opening fire at the Bravo family, grazing their unborn child’s head with bullet shrapnel on May 5.
